IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes - there is on-street parking available directly outside the salon.
WHERE IS THE NEAREST METRO/BUS STOP?
The nearest metro station is 'Jesmond' which is a 10 minute walk away and 'Osborne Road-Osborne Avenue' is the nearest bus stop which is a 5 minute walk away.
HOW DO I BUY A GIFT VOUCHER?
Please get in touch via Instagram or the 'Contact' page on the website to arrange to purchase a gift voucher.
CAN I BRING PETS TO MY APPOINTMENT?
No – although we love pets outside of the salon there may be other clients within the salon with allergies so we kindly request that you do not bring your pets with you.
DO YOU HAVE BATHROOM FACILITIES?
Yes, there is a toilet available.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel your appointment. If you wish to cancel your appointment we would appreciate 24 hours notice, however, if this isn't possible please get in touch as soon as possible prior to your appointment.
Please note cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be classed as late cancellations and will incur a 30% charge.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING/WEAR FOR MY SPRAY TAN?
We provide disposible underwear but feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
ARE THERE DIFFERENT SHADES OF SPRAY TAN AVAILABLE?
We offer five different options including 'Fast Tan' which can be washed off after two hours. The other colours are: 'Golden', 'Deep Golden', 'Bronze' and 'Deep Bronze'
HOW LONG DO I LEAVE MY SPRAY TAN ON FOR BEFORE SHOWERING?
You should allow 8-12 hours for the spray tan to fully develop.
HOW LONG WILL A SPRAY TAN LAST?
It should last between 5 - 7 days.
DO YOU PROVIDE MAKEUP CLEANSER BEFORE A SPRAY TAN?
Yes - we provide micellar cleansing water and make-up wipes.
HOW LONG DOES THE HAIR NEED TO BE FOR WAXING?
We recommend 4 - 5 mm (around the length of a piece of long grain rice).
IS A PATCH TEST REQUIRED?
Yes it is always required before your first appointment - please book this via Fresha.
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED AFTERCARE FOR LVL LASHES?
Please do not get them wet for twenty four hours.
HOW LONG WILL MY BUILDER JOURNEY TAKE?
We recommend three appointments with three weeks between appointments.
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED BUILDER INFILL TIME?
We recommend between 3-4 weeks.
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED BUILDER GEL AFTERCARE?
Cuticle Oil is highly recommended to keep your nails moiturised which encourages growth and helps to strengthen your nails. For the first 24 hours it is recommended to avoid submerging your freshly painted nails in water.
IS GEL REMOVAL INCLUDED WITH MY TREATMENT?
Yes - gel or BIAB removals are included within the standard price when the previous treatmen was carried out at Luxe Jesmond. please ensure removal is selected with your Fresha booking so that the correct appointment time is allocated.
DO YOU REMOVE GEL FROM ANOTHER SALON?
Unfortunately we do not remove gel or BIAB from other salons as the wide range of products and application techniques require different removal processes so we are only able to remove products applied at Luxe Jesmond.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DIDN’T BOOK NAIL ART BUT WOULD LIKE TO ON THE DAY?
Please get in touch via Instagram or the 'Contact' page as soon as possible and we will see what we can do. Please note, we are usually fully booked which doesn’t allow much room for last minute add-ons.
AM I ABLE TO REQUEST NAIL ART NOT SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE?
Yes - please get in touch via Instagram or the 'Contact' page and we will let you know if it is possible.
CAN I GET GEL POLISH IF I’M PREGNANT?
It is safe to have gel nails while you're pregnant. Bear in mind that if you're booked in for a planned caesarean section, your doctor or midwife will ask you to remove gel nails in advance.
DO YOU DO ACRYLICS?
We do not offer acrylics but do offer gel extensions. Please see the 'Nail Services' section for more information.
